In the beginning, America brought you the "Friendly Atom" and convinced economically depressed communities that having a nuclear reactor in their back yard was a good thing...we now know it was not, but the nuclear industry, NEI, DOE and the NRC are ready to build a whole new generation of reactors. The goal is simple, build 220 new reactors in America by 2050.
Problem is, they have to convince us it's the thing to do! Think about it, by the time they accomplish their goal, a child born in 2007 will be 43. So, now is the time to Brain Wash (whoops...educate) those who will follow in our footsteps, make them believe today that Nuclear Energy is Green tomorrow. The right propaganda campaign, and NEI buys the nuclear industry two, maybe three generations of complacent Pro Nuclear lambs ready to be led to slaughter.
Do you know what sights your children visit on the Internet...is there another predator cruising the web in the hopes of corrupting young minds? Take a look at a few of the Nuclear Children's Propaganda sites, and ask yourself who is actually paying for this Brain Washing with our taxes and utility rates.
